What I built
The rendering engine. A Three.js scene with custom physically based materials for precious metals and gems, rendered in real time in the browser.
The configurator. The user interface to customise a piece: colour, metalness and roughness, saved as named materials.
The back end. A REST API with CRUD across several schemas, MongoDB Atlas for storage, and deployment on Vercel.
